These terms apply when you use this website or ask Cardinal Monument Setting ("we," "us") to deliver, set, remove or store a monument. By using the site or sending us work, you agree to them.
What we do
We deliver monuments to Ohio cemeteries and set them on a finished foundation. We also remove monuments and store them over winter.
We do not pour foundations, engrave, add final dates, repair or clean monuments. Those are the responsibility of the cemetery or the company that sold the memorial.
Quotes
A quote is based on the details you send, such as the county, the monument and its weight. If the details turn out to be different, the price may change. We will tell you before we do the work.
What we need from you
- Accurate details: the cemetery, the section and lot, the monument and where it is now.
- A finished foundation that is ready for setting, arranged by the cemetery, funeral home or dealer.
- Any approval, permit or fee the cemetery requires before a monument is set or removed.
- The cemetery's rules for setters, if it has any.
Scheduling and weather
We group settings by area and tell you the date before we go. Weather, ground conditions, heavy snow or a foundation that is not ready may move a date. We will reschedule as soon as we can.
Monuments in our care
When we hold a monument for winter or until a foundation is ready, we photograph it when it arrives. We take reasonable care of it while we hold it.
Payment
We invoice for completed work. Payment is due on the terms on your invoice or agreed for your account. We may ask for payment before scheduling some work.
Accounts
Trade accounts get a private page on our site. Keep your sign-in links to yourself, and tell us if someone leaves your company. You are responsible for orders sent from your account.
Problems with a setting
If something is wrong with a setting, tell us within 30 days and send a photo. We will look at it and make it right when the problem is our work.
Limits of our responsibility
We are not responsible for problems caused by the foundation, the ground, the monument itself, or the work of others. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any job is limited to the amount paid for that job.

The words, photos and design on this site belong to us. Please do not copy them without permission. We work to keep the site accurate, but it may contain errors and may change without notice.

Our text message terms and privacy policy are part of these terms.
Ohio law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Work already scheduled follows the terms in place when it was ordered.
